The long awaited time for Blade & Soul has arrived. For those who do not know what Blade & Soul is it is an Action Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG for short), and it has been through what I would like to call development hell.
Initially announced in early Spring 2010, it was then lost to the confounds of development for 2 years; showing up at the Korean release date of June 30, 2012.
While the game was completed in its Korean iteration, it had seemed as if the West would never get to see NCSOFT’s Blade & Soul in its full glory. We would not see any information on a Western release until May 20, 2015. Almost a full 3 years after the games initial release. Nevertheless, eager fans such as myself were ready and waiting for years. It was the first sign of life that came from NCSOFT. I was excited, and even today on January 19, 2016 – the release date of Blade & Soul – I am ready and waiting for my internet to work so I can get grinding and playing.
Blade & Soul is a free-to-play game, you can download it on their website here.
